Manchester Metropolitan University is seeking to appoint several Tutors within its vibrant and interdisciplinary School of English. The School delivers a diverse portfolio of undergraduate programmes across English Literature, Linguistics, Film and Media Studies, and Creative Writing.
We particularly welcome applications from candidates with teaching experience in one or more of the following areas:
- English Literature
- Linguistics
- Film and Media Studies
- Creative Writing, especially Scriptwriting
These part-time opportunities are offered on a fixed-term basis for 6 months at 0.3 FTE (10.5 hours per week). Successful applicants will be appointed to teach in either Semester 1 – start date: 1 September 2026, or Semester 2 – start date: 4 January 2027.
