We are seeking to appoint an outstanding academic to join our Hospitality and Tourism team to support the delivery and continued development of our new BSc International Hospitality and Tourism Business Management programme. This innovative programme combines international hospitality, tourism, business management, digital innovation, sustainability, and work integrated learning to prepare graduates for leadership careers within the global visitor economy.
This is a permanent, full-time position (37 hours per week). The successful candidate will contribute to the delivery of high-quality, research-informed teaching, curriculum development, student support, and scholarly activity across our undergraduate provision. They will bring an in-depth understanding of contemporary hospitality and tourism business practice and the ability to translate professional and academic experience into engaging, practice based learning.
We are seeking an individual with academic and industry experience within hospitality, tourism, or the wider visitor economy, who can contribute to the continued development of our BSc International Hospitality and Tourism Business Management programme. The successful candidate will demonstrate expertise in one or more areas including:
- hospitality and tourism sales and marketing
- digital innovation and emerging technologies
- commercial awareness and revenue management
- customer experience

- operations
- strategic leadership

Applicants should hold an undergraduate degree and a postgraduate qualification at Master’s level, or equivalent professional qualification and experience, alongside relevant hospitality and/or tourism industry experience.
