This role is well suited to someone who enjoys translating complex data into clear, meaningful insight — and who wants their work to have a tangible, positive impact. This is a two-year, fixed term post.

About The Role

Based within the Student Services Operations team, you will:

  • Plan, design, and build a suite of core management reports using Power BI, enabling consistent, meaningful insight across Student Services.
  • Analyse complex datasets to produce clear statistical reports and management information, delivering a planned programme of reporting for the Student Services leadership team.
  • Produce and present insightful analysis of Student Services data to a wide range of stakeholders across the University, translating data into clear messages and recommendations.
  • Contribute to systems and service improvement projects, taking the lead on smaller‑scale projects where appropriate.

This is a varied and impactful role, offering the opportunity to influence decision-making and improve outcomes for students across the University.

About You

We're looking for someone who combines strong technical skills with the ability to communicate insight clearly and confidently.

You Will Have:

  • Excellent data and analytical skills, with practical experience of Power BI, report writing, and data visualisation.
  • Experience of interpreting data, drawing evidence‑based conclusions, and making recommendations to senior stakeholders.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work collaboratively and deliver to agreed specifications and timescales.
