Talent Acquisition Specialist at The Manchester Metropolitan University. This is a 12-month fixed-term contract covering maternity leave within the Apprenticeships Unit. You will engage with employers, apprentices and academic colleagues to evaluate and enhance the impact of Degree Apprenticeships, aligning with the University's Road to 2030 strategy and Apprenticeships Strategy.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage various projects and events, including high-profile visits.
- Establish and maintain quality standards, ensuring project objectives are met within timelines.
- Collect and analyse quantitative and qualitative data to elevate the impact of degree apprenticeships.
- Plan and prioritise work and resources to achieve objectives.
- Use initiative and judgement to develop techniques for problem-solving.
- Engage and build productive relationships with employers, apprentices, alumni, and stakeholders.
- Develop a portfolio of relationships across stakeholders for sustained engagement.
- Identify opportunities for impact case studies and good practice.
- Contribute to internal and external partnerships and networks.
- Build relationships with key contacts and agencies to facilitate engagement and innovation.
- Collaborate with the senior leadership team to organise and manage projects.
- Actively contribute to long-term planning and project direction.
The ideal candidate
- Proven experience in project and events management.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to present data effectively.
- Excellent interpersonal and networking skills.
- Experience of developing positive and successful relationships with employers and external stakeholders.
- Ability to work collaboratively and proactively within a team.
- Up-to-date knowledge of national and regional policies and strategies that relate to degree apprenticeships.
