The Manchester College is looking for an enthusiastic and innovative Media Teacher to join our Creative Arts team. Are you passionate about film, digital media, and content creation? We're looking for a dynamic and Creative Media Teacher to deliver engaging and industry-relevant lessons to our Creative Media students across Level 1 to Level 3. You'll inspire learners with real-world knowledge and help them build future-ready creative skills. This role offers the chance to shape young talent in a supportive and forward-thinking environment.

We have an exciting opportunity at our City Campus Manchester to join our Media Department as a Creative Media Teacher on a permanent, part-time (17.5 hours per week) basis.

Home to our Centre of Excellence for Creative and Digital Industries, it provides an inspiring setting for both staff and learners, with specialist studios, workshops, and collaborative spaces. Start your teaching journey with us! We welcome applications from aspiring teachers who are passionate about sharing their industry skills. At The Manchester College, you will be supported by our Teaching Academy to work towards qualified teacher status for post 16 compulsory education, through a Cert Ed/PGCE. This includes 3-4 hours delivery per week and engagement with a mentor to support your progress in the profession while you work. The starting salary for an unqualified teacher is between £28,300.00 - £30,307.50. It's a great way to kick-start a rewarding career with full training and support. Once you've successfully qualified and demonstrated your teaching competence, you'll progress to the qualified teacher salary banding.

Consideration will be given to relevant industry experience and skills with the flexibility to offer increased starting salaries in some circumstances.

Levelling Up Payment: Check to see if you are eligible to receive a Government Levelling up payment once you have made your application.
