We are the largest Further Education College in the UK providing education and training to a wide range of learners. We have an exciting opportunity at our City Campus Manchester to join our Media Department as a Creative Media Teacher, on a permanent, full-time basis.

What You’ll Do:

  • Deliver high-quality, learner-focused education that nurtures creativity, critical thinking, and collaboration.
  • Supervise and develop the curriculum, ensuring compliance with the curriculum framework quality standards, best practice and achievement targets are met.
  • Foster a supportive learning environment where students can explore and succeed.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Certificate of education or PGCE.
  • Current and valid industry specialism.
  • Assessor qualifications (if required by Awarding Organisation).
  • Minimum Level 3 occupational qualification.
  • English and maths minimum level 2 Grade C or grade 4 and above.
  • Professional experience in either Video production, Audio production or Post Production with a strong portfolio showcasing diverse projects.
  • A demonstrable track record of effective teaching and delivery to post 16 students at level 2 and level under the UAL awarding body framework.
  • Knowledge and experience of effective internal verification processes.
  • Proficient knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud.
