We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineering Teacher to deliver high-quality teaching across T Level Mechanical Engineering programmes to 16‑18 learners. You will cover core engineering principles alongside practical, industry‑relevant applications within workshop and classroom settings. Applicants must hold relevant academic qualifications and bring strong, current industry experience. Practical expertise should include milling, turning, CNC machining, CAD software such as Autodesk Inventor, and general workshop hand skills. A recognised teaching qualification is essential, or a willingness to achieve one within two years. This role offers the opportunity to prepare learners for progression into skilled employment and higher‑level engineering pathways. This opportunity is based at our Openshaw Campus to join the Automotive, Construction, Engineering and Logistics Department as T‑Level Mechanical Engineering Teacher on a permanent, full‑time (35 hours per week) basis.
