The Manchester College is seeking a knowledgeable and engaging Computing Teacher to join our growing Digital and Computing team. Initially, you will deliver BTEC Level 3 Computing, helping learners build the technical knowledge and practical skills required to progress into higher education or employment within the digital sector. As the curriculum evolves, you will also play a key role in delivering Digital T Levels, preparing students for the demands of the modern technology industry. We are looking for a confident and competent computing professional with strong subject knowledge, previous teaching, training or mentoring experience, and a genuine passion for inspiring learners. We have an exciting opportunity at our City Campus Manchester to join our Business, Computing and Digital Industries Department as a Computing Teacher on a permanent, full-time (35 hours per week) basis.

Skills, Qualifications and Experience
To be successful in this role, you will need to:
- Certificate of education or PGCE.
- Current and valid industry specialism.
- Assessor qualifications (if required by Awarding Organisation).
- Minimum Level 3 occupational qualification.
- English and maths minimum level 2 Grace C or grade 4 and above.
- Significant Experience of delivering outstanding teaching and learning.
- Proven track record of high-quality teaching in delivering subject specialism or current valid industry specialism.
- Working as a team.
- Verbal and written communication skills.
- Meet delivery targets and plans.
- Accurate and timely reports and records.
- Positive contribution to planning processes.
