At The Manchester College, we are looking for vigilant and approachable Campus Safety Officers to play a key role in maintaining a secure and supportive atmosphere across our campuses. You will be the friendly, reassuring presence that ensures everyone feels protected, responding swiftly to incidents, promoting positive behaviour, and upholding safety procedures. We have an exciting opportunity to join our Planning and Performance Department as a Campus Safety Officer on a permanent, full-time (35 hours per week), term-time only (36 weeks) basis. The role is based at our Openshaw Campus; however, this is a college-wide role and could be allocated to any of our 5 sites depending on the requirements of the business.
Our Openshaw campus is a vibrant, modern hub of learning, equipped with outstanding, industry-standard facilities designed to inspire both staff and students. Located just outside Manchester city centre, the campus offers a wide range of vocational and academic courses, with specialist spaces for areas such as construction, engineering, health, and digital.
The Manchester College is the largest Further Education College in the United Kingdom and has the largest provisions for 16-19 year olds, adults, and higher education in Greater Manchester. We currently support more than 25% of Greater Manchester's learning provision and are currently rated 'Good' by Ofsted. The Manchester College's offering is bolstered by 18 Centres of Excellence across our campuses, ensuring we give our best and strive to achieve an unrivalled learning experience for our students. We have partnerships with over 1000 industry and employer partners nationally to ensure our students secure their place as the leaders of the future.
