Are you a teacher who\’s passionate about guiding students to achieve their full potential both in and out of the classroom? At The Manchester College, we\’re looking for Achievement Tutors to support learners\’ academic success through engaging group tutorials. In this role, you\’ll play a vital part in helping students stay on track, meet their goals, and thrive in their studies by delivering outstanding teaching, learning, and assessment via engaging activities, resources, and focused academic coaching while monitoring individual student progress in 1-1 reviews using tools like ProMonitor and Markbook. You\’ll collaborate closely with teaching teams, develop high-quality learning resources, and champion student voice, employability, and achievement at every stage.

We have an exciting opportunity at our Wythenshawe Campus to join us as an Achievement Tutor (Animal Management) on a permanent, full-time (35 hours per week) basis.

Start your teaching journey with us!

We welcome applications from aspiring teachers who are passionate about sharing their industry skills. At The Manchester College, you will be supported by our Teaching Academy to work towards qualified teacher status for post 16 compulsory education, through a Cert Ed/PGCE. This includes 3-4 hours delivery per week and engagement with a mentor to support your progress in the profession while you work. The starting salary for an unqualified teacher is between 28,300.00 – 30,307.50 . It\’s a great way to kick-start a rewarding career with full training and support. Once you\’ve successfully qualified and demonstrated your teaching competence, you\’ll progress to the qualified teacher salary banding.

Consideration will be given to relevant industry experience and skills with the flexibility to offer increased starting salaries in some circumstances .

Levelling Up Payment
