The role The Landside Planning Manager is responsible for Manchester Airport’s Operational Planning process across the D-1 to 12-month time horizon.
The role’s core focus is on landside planning, while supporting other areas as required and in line with business requirements.
The role will lead the development of robust landside plans, using capacity and scenario planning to understand future requirements and support operational decision-making.
Working closely with operational teams and senior stakeholders, the role will also drive continuous improvement and ensure plans are deliverable and aligned with Manchester Airport’s passenger growth.
What will make you successful in this role Experience in operational planning, ideally within aviation, airports or a similar complex organisation.
Strong analytical skills, with the ability to use data and insights to inform planning decisions.
Proven stakeholder management and influencing skills across all levels of an organisation.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights and recommendations.
Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, Power Point, Teams and Word.
Experience working in an operational environment and understanding the demands of delivering robust, practical plans.
