The roleYou will undertake core Health & Safety activities to support the delivery of MAG Health & Safety processes and procedures, contributing to the continuous improvement of safety performance across the EMA site. Working closely with the EMA Management team, you will lead initiatives and deliver site-wide plans using your professional Health & Safety expertise, providing clear, timely and practical guidance, advice and solutions on all H&S matters.You will also play a key role in influencing business units and external third parties to drive Health & Safety improvement actions, ensuring full compliance with MAG procedures and all relevant legal regulations.What will make you successful in the role?NEBOSH Certificate in Occupational Health & Safety (or relevant EMA experience with a willingness to achieve within two years); Diploma/NVQ desirable or commitment to obtain within five yearsAt least three years’ experience in a Health & Safety role within an operational environment (airport experience highly desirable)Training qualification and experience advantageousStrong communication, influencing and analytical skills with the ability to engage at all levelsHigh computer literacy; experience with Rivo Safeguard an advantageSelf-motivated, highly organised and passionate about Health & SafetyEqual Opportunities & Reasonable AdjustmentsWe’re building something brilliant at MAG: a diverse team of Journey Makers who share our values and want to make a difference.
