The Ivy Learning Trust is a thriving family of 17 primary schools across Enfield and Hertfordshire. Since forming in 2017, the Trust has grown significantly, and we continue to expand with ambition and purpose.
As part of this growth, we are seeking to appoint a Facilities Manager to play a critical and high–profile role within our central team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced facilities professional to lead the delivery, compliance and continuous improvement of Facilities Hard Services across all Trust schools.
Working closely with the Director of Estates and Facilities, you will take responsibility for ensuring safe, compliant and well maintained environments for staff, pupils and visitors. You will lead on compliance monitoring, procurement of value–for–money contracts, strategic planning, and oversight of planned and reactive maintenance.
This role requires someone proactive, collaborative and confident working with multiple stakeholders across our family of schools. The successful candidate will bring strong experience in facilities management and compliance (including knowledge of fire safety, statutory testing, building maintenance and health & safety legislation). You will be an effective communicator capable of influencing at all levels, with strong project management and organisational skills.
Given the Trust's diverse community and multi site portfolio, you will also need the ability to navigate different environments, balance competing priorities, and operate with a high degree of autonomy. A valid driving licence and regular travel to Trust schools is required.
Ivy Learning Trust is committed to safeguarding the wellbeing of our pupils and young people. The successful candidate will be subject to an enhanced DBS and online social media check.
