As Head of QHSE you will provide strategic leadership for quality, health, safety and environmental management across the Wellcome Genome Campus and its expansion. You will partner with senior leaders to embed governance, risk management and business continuity, ensuring safe, sustainable operations during growth. Responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership for QHSE across WGCL and the expansion programme
- Oversee governance, compliance, risk management and business continuity
- Support operations management during growth and transformation
- Engage with senior stakeholders to build credibility and influence QHSE culture
- Develop and implement QHSE strategies, governance frameworks, and management systems
- Ensure safe, sustainable and resilient operations across evolving environments
Key requirements
- NEBOSH Diploma (or equivalent) and Chartered IOSH status (or progress towards it)
- Significant experience in complex property, estate, facilities management or infrastructure environments
- Proven track record in developing and implementing QHSE strategies and management systems
- Strong ability to engage, influence and build credibility with senior stakeholders
