This is a strategic leadership role for a chartered surveyor with deep technical expertise, commercial acumen, and a passion for delivering best-in-class surveying services across the built environment.
Key Responsibilities: Lead and develop a national team of building surveyors, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture Oversee a diverse portfolio of instructions including technical due diligence, dilapidations, refurbishment, and project delivery Drive business development and client relationship management across commercial, industrial, residential, and public sectors Provide expert advice on building pathology, compliance, and asset lifecycle strategies Champion innovation in digital surveying, sustainability, and modern methods of construction Ensure quality assurance, risk management, and operational excellence across all service lines Candidate Profile: MRICS or FRICS qualified with extensive experience in building surveying within a consultancy environment Proven leadership capability with a track record of growing teams and developing talent Strong technical knowledge across core surveying disciplines and project delivery Commercially minded with excellent client-facing and stakeholder engagement skills Strategic thinker with the ability to shape and evolve service offerings in line with market demand This is a rare opportunity to shape the future of a thriving building surveying practice within a respected and growing consultancy.
