Interim Housing Partnerships Manager

North West | Hybrid Working (2 days per week in the oice) 6-Month Interim Contract | Inside IR35 £We are supporting a values-led housing organisation in the North West to appoint an Interim Housing Partnerships Manager for an initial 6-month assignment.

This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in shaping housing services, strengthening partnerships, and supporting sustainable communities during a period of organisational change.

You will take responsibility for a broad housing management portfolio, ensuring residents receive a high-quality service while working closely with external housing management providers, local authority partners, and other housing associations.

A particular focus will be on improving outcomes around tenancy management, voids and lettings performance, resident engagement, and community development initiatives.

The role requires an individual who is comfortable operating both strategically and operationally, building effective relationships across multiple stakeholders and driving improvements in housing processes, systems and service delivery.

You will act as a key liaison between housing partners and internal teams, ensuring issues are resolved quickly and services remain resident-focused.

Lead on housing and tenancy management activities across the portfolio.

Develop strong working relationships with local authorities, housing associations, support agencies and service providers.

Oversee performance relating to voids, lettings and tenancy sustainment, helping new residents successfully settle into their homes and communities.

Support the review and improvement of housing management systems, processes and service standards.

Work collaboratively with technical and operational colleagues to resolve complex housing issues.

Contribute to community-building initiatives and partnership projects that enhance resident wellbeing and neighbourhood sustainability.

Strong housing and tenancy management experience.

Proven track record of partnership working with local authorities, housing associations and external stakeholders.

Excellent communication, relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.

Experience within smaller housing organisations would be advantageous, although candidates from a range of housing backgrounds will be considered.

This role would suit an experienced Housing Manager, Housing Partnerships professional or an ambitious Team Leader looking to step into a broader management assignment within a dynamic and evolving organisation.
