Head of Internal Recruitment

Make the move client side and lead an in-house function you can shape.
We are seeking a senior agency recruiter ready to transition in house to build and lead internal recruitment for a respected, independent construction advisory firm. Reporting to HR and partnering closely with business leaders, you will own permanent hiring across the UK and Europe, set the talent plan, and elevate process, systems, and candidate experience.
What you will lead
- Workforce planning, hiring strategy, and delivery across fee-earning, corporate, and operations roles.
- A small internal team, setting clear SLAs, pipelines, and quality standards.
- Continuous improvement across ATS, MI and reporting, assessment, and hiring manager capability.
- Employer brand, early careers, and DE&I initiatives in partnership with HR and Marketing.
What you will bring
- A proven agency track record placing Building Surveyors and Project Managers at pace and to a high standard.
- Credibility with senior stakeholders, with the consultative approach to challenge, influence, and guide decisions.
- Experience of construction, consultancy, or built environment markets, with strong networks and commercial insight.
- Hands-on delivery capability combined with the structure and judgement to design scalable processes.
