A flagship London estate with an ambitious environmental vision is seeking a Head of Energy to propel its next chapter of innovation and carbon reduction. With a major mixed-use portfolio already recognised for strong sustainability credentials, the estate is now pushing further toward intelligent systems, renewable solutions and a robust pathway to net zero.
This is an opportunity to shape energy strategy at scale and deliver impact that is both measurable and long lasting. As Head of Energy, you will set the strategic direction for energy performance across a diverse and high-profile estate. Your remit will span district energy operations, the optimisation of building systems, smart metering and analytics, renewable procurement, and embedding energy and carbon considerations into every development and refurbishment decision.
You will be the figure connecting operational delivery with long term environmental ambition, influencing senior stakeholders and guiding investment decisions that set new benchmarks for sustainable estate management. This is a role for someone who thrives in complex environments and enjoys turning data, technology and innovation into meaningful action.
You will lead a specialist team, collaborate with internal and external partners, and ensure compliance with an evolving regulatory landscape. Your ability to translate technical insight into clear commercial and operational outcomes will be essential.
We are seeking a senior energy professional with substantial experience driving decarbonisation across large, multi-building portfolios. You will bring strong technical expertise in building services, metering and BMS systems, procurement strategy, district energy networks and UK energy regulation. You will have a track record of delivering tangible reductions in energy use and carbon intensity, and the confidence to influence at all levels.
If you are energised by ambitious environmental goals, emerging technologies and the opportunity to shape estate-wide energy strategy in one of London’s most high-profile settings, we would welcome a confidential conversation.
