MRG is working with a respected Housing Association in the North West to appoint an experienced Interim Housing Manager for an initial six-month assignment.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the day-to-day delivery of housing management services.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and service performance across tenancy and neighbourhood services.
- Support the delivery of tenancy sustainment initiatives.
- Oversee the effective management of anti-social behaviour cases, tenancy breaches and complex safeguarding issues.
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with local authority partners, support agencies and community organisations.
- Support the implementation of service improvement initiatives and customer engagement activities.
- Provide leadership, coaching and performance management to housing staff.
- Ensure accurate record keeping and compliance with organisational policies and procedures.
Person Specification:
- Significant experience within social housing, housing management and neighbourhood services.
- Proven track record of leading operational housing services and managing frontline teams.
- Strong knowledge of tenancy management, ASB, safeguarding and customer-focused service delivery.
- Experience of working collaboratively with local authorities and external partners.
- Ability to manage complex cases and make sound operational decisions.
- Experience of driving performance improvement and managing KPIs.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- CIH qualification preferably.
