My client, a growing construction contractor based In Hertfordshire, are seeking a proactive and organised Business Development Executive to support the day-to-day delivery of business development activities. This role will assist with identifying and tracking new business opportunities, supporting tender and pre-qualification submissions (PQQs, EOIs and SQQs), managing tender portal administration, and maintaining accurate records and document control. The position plays an important role in helping to build a strong pipeline of opportunities and ensuring the business is well positioned to secure future work.
Working closely with the wider team, you will support client communications, help coordinate pre-tender activities, assist with compliance administration, and contribute to maintaining positive client relationships. You may also be involved in post-contract follow-up, client satisfaction checks, networking events and industry engagement activities, helping to strengthen market presence and support repeat business opportunities.
The ideal candidate will have strong organisational and administrative skills, excellent attention to detail, and confidence using Microsoft Office and SharePoint. Previous experience in business development, construction, or a professional services environment would be advantageous. You will be professional, enthusiastic, able to manage multiple priorities, and eager to develop your career within a busy and growing business development team.
