Based in Belfast, The Malone Hotel is seeking passionate and service-oriented Food and Beverage Assistants to join our growing team. Ideal candidates will deliver exceptional dining experiences by providing outstanding service, ensuring guest satisfaction, and maintaining high standards for food and beverages. This is an excellent opportunity for anyone looking to advance their career in hospitality! About The Role Key Responsibilities: Greet guests warmly and ensure an outstanding dining experience. Take and serve food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently. Provide menu recommendations and upsell where appropriate. Handle guest inquiries and complaints professionally, ensuring quick resolution. Prepare and serve beverages, including cocktails, wine, and coffee, as per hotel standards. Assist in setting up dining areas, ensuring tables are properly arranged and stocked. Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in dining areas and bar sections. Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines strictly. Work closely with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely service. Assist in inventory checks and stock replenishment. Support event catering and private dining experiences when required. Essential Criteria: Previous experience in food and beverage service, preferably in a boutique hotel or fine dining setting. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Strong knowledge of food and beverage pairings, cocktails, and hospitality trends. Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment. Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and evening shifts.
