An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Project Manager to support the delivery of strategic programmes, funding initiatives, and organisational projects within a respected UK organisation. This is a varied and collaborative role suited to someone with experience managing complex non‑IT projects in areas such as grant programmes, organisational change, research, policy, public sector, charity, or operational delivery.

You will work across a range of high‑impact initiatives, coordinating stakeholders, managing timelines and risks, supporting governance processes, and ensuring projects are delivered effectively and in line with organisational priorities.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Managing the delivery of strategic programmes and organisational initiatives
  • Developing and maintaining project plans, timelines, budgets, and reporting
  • Coordinating cross‑functional teams, external partners, and stakeholders
  • Supporting governance, programme reporting, and decision‑making processes
  • Managing risks, dependencies, and project communications
  • Facilitating workshops, meetings, and collaborative planning sessions
  • Supporting continuous improvement and effective programme delivery
About you:
  • Proven experience delivering non‑IT projects or programmes from initiation through to completion
  • Strong organisational, planning, and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience working across multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and relationship‑building abilities
  • Knowledge of project and programme management approaches such as PRINCE2, Agile, or similar
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
  • Experience within charities, foundations, public sector, research, healthcare, higher education, or mission‑led organisations would be highly desirable.
