The Role
We're seeking a Contractor Payroll & Compliance professional to join the business on a 15‐month fixed‐term contract covering maternity leave. This is a broad and varied role supporting the contractor lifecycle from onboarding through to payroll, invoicing and compliance. Working closely with the CFO and wider operations team, you'll help ensure contractors, clients and consultants are supported efficiently while maintaining robust compliance and payroll processes.
- Contractor onboarding and compliance checks
- Contractor payroll and timesheet processing
- Contracts, compliance documentation and client terms
- Contractor placements and CRM administration
- Expenses and self‐billing processes
- Permanent and contract invoicing
- Credit control and debtor management
- Supplier payments and employee expenses
- Operational reporting and contractor data
- Supporting the CFO and external accountants
You
- Experience within a recruitment, staffing, contractor management or payroll environment
- Exposure to contractor onboarding, compliance, payroll or timesheet processes
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
- Comfortable working in a fast‐paced environment
- Confidence building relationships with contractors, clients and internal stakeholders
- A proactive approach and willingness to take ownership
- Strong communication skills and confidence picking up the phone
- Experience with Bullhorn and/or RSM InTime would be highly advantageous
