Are you passionate about making a real difference in people’s lives? We are seeking a dedicated Housing Support Worker to join our supportive and values-driven team.

In this rewarding role, you’ll provide person-centred support to individuals living in temporary and shared accommodation—many of whom may be experiencing homelessness, trauma, or complex life challenges. You’ll play a vital role in helping customers build confidence, develop independent living skills, and transition successfully into the community.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering tailored one-to-one support and case management
  • Creating and reviewing personalised support and risk management plans
  • Promoting independent living, wellbeing, and financial resilience
  • Supporting with benefit applications, arrears management, and practical life skills
  • Working in partnership with local agencies, professionals, and internal teams
  • Maintaining a safe, secure, and positive living environment

What we’re looking for:

  • Experience supporting vulnerable individuals—such as those affected by homelessness, mental health challenges, substance misuse, or domestic abuse
  • Knowledge of housing or social care sectors, including understanding of welfare benefits and tenancy-related issues
  • Ability to manage a complex caseload, complete assessments, and keep accurate support records
  • Confident using a coaching or strengths-based approach to engage and motivate service users
  • Emotionally resilient, compassionate, and able to set clear boundaries
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills
  • Basic IT literacy and familiarity with digital tools

This is an opportunity to be part of a mission-led organisation where your work will have a real and lasting impact.
