As Executive Assistant, you will support the Chief Executive to ensure the smooth and efficient running of their office, facilitate good governance practices through the delivery of Board and sub-committee meetings, and support operational aspects such as HR, facilities, and IT. Key duties and responsibilities: Chief Executive\’s Office: To provide guidance and mentorship to the Diary Manager to the Chief Executive. To ensure the Chief Executive is prepared for and fully briefed ahead of their commitments. To effectively manage the inbox of the Chief Executive. To draft and send correspondence on behalf of the Chief Executive. Governance: Manage the delivery of meetings of the Board of Trustees and the four sub-committees, including circulation of meeting papers, the taking of accurate minutes, and updating of action logs. Act as point of contact for Trustees and colleagues seeking guidance on communication. Maintain the Board’s register of interests. Ensure compliance with governance principles and statutory requirements. Support Trustee recruitment and induction. Draft agendas for senior leadership meetings. Operations: Support the Director of Finance and Resources with operational needs of the office, including facilities, IT, HR admin, and recruitment as required. Skills and experience required: Experience working in a Chief Executive’s office. Understanding of governance models, legal requirements, and best practices. Team player in a small, collegiate charity environment. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Strong administrative, planning, and organizational skills.
