Consultancy Coordinator

£37,000 – £45,000 + discretionary performance related bonus + hybrid working

Proposals Coordinator within Business Development team for a leading Consultancy linked to the world of academia and education.

We are hiring for a coordinator to manage your own portfolio of proposals for consultancy projects in the Built Environment/Engineering sector, from initial enquiry through to signing the business. You will deal with various stakeholders including internal teams, academic consultants and external clients so you must have a confident, polished and client facing manner and be comfortable conversing at all levels.

The role

  • Coordinate bespoke detailed proposals, including pricing and submission
  • Liaise with external clients, academic consultants, and consultancy colleagues to develop consultancy service propositions
  • Manage your own portfolio of proposal stage mandates in close collaboration with colleagues and consultants
  • Liaise with Legal, Project Management, and Finance teams
  • Identify external consultancy opportunities in line with organisational strategy
  • Obtain client feedback on completed consultancy projects as a part of a process of continuous improvement

You

  • Degree educated or similar
  • Strong client facing and relationship management experience
  • Experience within business development, bid creation and or proposal writing OR a background working with academics/within higher education with a strong grasp of commercial practices
  • Confident working on multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong technical skills across MS Office and CRM
  • Subject expertise in any of the following is advantageous but not essential: Built Environment, Engineering, Aviation, Transportation, Shipping, Defence or Circular Economy or similar

This role offers access to a huge variety of projects, fascinating subject matter a friendly, intelligent and supportive team along with a very flexible hybrid policy (minimum 1 day per week in the central London office).
