Manpower are currently seeking an interim Commercial Marketing Executive to work with our global FMCG client, The Magnum Ice Cream Company, renowned for brands such as Magnum, Ben & Jerry's, Cornetto and Wall's, and become an integral part of their fast-paced FMCG environment. The position is based in Kingston upon Thames, Surrey. This is a full-time temporary role to run until the end of December 2026, requiring 36.25 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Compensation for this role is competitive, paying £42,000- £50,000 per annum, pro rata, depending upon experience. The role currently offers a mix of remote and onsite working, subject to adjustment based on business requirements.

JOB DESCRIPTION & PURPOSE: We are looking for a passionate and high-performing Commercial & Marketing Executive to support the acceleration of our Digital Commerce business. The successful individual will be responsible for the day-to-day commercial and marketing operations across the channel and will work across and manage multiple Digital Commerce customers and cross-functional relationships, with clearly defined ownership of internal processes. This role is office based.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support our Customer Account Controllers and Performance Marketing teams with administration and operational tasks including but not limited to the creation and processing of PO’s, Invoices, Rebates, Price Changes, and Freezer requests.
  • Own our volume planning and forecasting process, in collaboration with the Customer Account Controllers.
  • Build sustainable, best-in-class relationships with internal and external Commercial and Marketing teams and act as the designated point of contact for any administration or operational queries.
  • Monitor account performance ensuring focus on key deliverables.
  • Analyse data and market trends to identify Digital Commerce growth opportunities, improve forecasting and optimise listings.
  • Support Commercial and Marketing teams to design and execute external promotional/retail media plans, price changes, and product launches.
  • Work cross-functionally with Supply Chain and Planning teams to ensure forecasts are accurate.

Knowledge, Experience & Skills Required:

  • Strong communication and analytical skills.
  • Business fundamentals: strong commercial and marketing acumen, internal reporting accuracy, and stakeholder management with a track record of delivering in role.
  • Customer Management – ideally from a previous commercial/marketing role.
  • A ‘right first time’ mindset, ideally with previous E2E operational and administrative experience.
  • Demonstrated evidence of working in agile, fast-paced team environments with competing priorities.
  • Microsoft Office proficiency.
