UK/IE is the largest market in Europe and has a pivotal role in the European ambition to grow while simultaneously becoming the most ethical food brand in the market.
Role Overview: The UK Assistant Brand Manager for Ben & Jerry’s plays an important role in shaping one of the UK and Ireland’s most loved, distinctive and purpose‑led ice cream brands. This high‑impact role owns the Core Pints portfolio, helping to drive growth, deepen fan engagement and bring the brand’s 3‑part mission to life through brilliant consumer moments, innovation and market‑leading activation.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the Ben and Jerrys Core Pints Portfolio.
- Champion the 3‑part mission within the business helping to drive key Fan moments such as Free Cone Day and our B&Js festival.
- Lead digital strategy and execution of campaigns, managing the full end‑to‑end process including development of assets, testing and pivoting where needed.
- Assist with commercial delivery of the brand, including monitoring/reporting of in‑market performance & ownership of forecast assumptions.
- Be the UK project lead for all Pints innovation, including consumer research, competitor reviews, business cases and creating a supporting activation plan.
- Work closely with customer teams, d‑com and away from home teams to identify and action growth opportunities.
- Support development of annual brand strategy.
- Present brand plans to external customers and internal UK & Global stakeholders.
- Partner closely with media and digital expert teams to ensure flawless execution in market.
- Weekly management of feedback from quality & consumer engagement teams.
- Manage the portfolio strategy for Pints and ensure we drive an effective mix in all our retailers.
- Taste new Ice Cream flavours!
Qualifications: Degree or equivalent preferred plus experience in brand and product management (including product launch, volume planning, business case development, customer sell‑in) and developing and executing marketing programs. Competencies in marketing, digital, program development and implementation are required. Must have good financial acumen and be comfortable applying insights and articulating them to stakeholders. Must have strong influencing skills and be comfortable interacting with a matrix organization of internal B&J and TMICC stakeholders and to external customer teams. Team player with excellent project management skills, and experience in leading project teams.
