The Magdalene Group is a well-respected, award-winning, innovative, women-only organisation, established in 1994, providing trauma- and gender-informed services with the violence against women and girls (VAWG) agenda at the heart of all that we do. We are seeking an experienced and values-driven leader to join our Senior Management Team as Head of Women’s Services. Working closely with the CEO, you will play a key role in delivering our strategic priorities with a particular focus on developing our women’s homelessness strategy. This is a senior role with both strategic and operational responsibility, ensuring high-quality, compliant and impactful services for women and girls.

The role

  • To lead the development and delivery of our women’s services, including a new housing provision strategy.
  • To ensure excellence in governance, safeguarding, compliance, and quality assurance.
  • To oversee service performance, impact measurement and for CEO and Board of Trustees.
  • To manage, support and develop staff, fostering a culture of learning and continuous improvement.
  • To build and maintain strong partnerships with funders, commissioners, and stakeholders.
  • To contribute to income-generation, tenders, and future service development.

About you

  • You will be a strategic thinker with strong operational leadership, and a strong understanding of safeguarding, compliance and quality.
  • You will have experience developing partnerships and securing funding.
  • You will have a commitment to trauma-informed, client-led practice.
  • You will have excellent communication and report-writing skills.
