The MABA Group CIC is a mobile Social Enterprise organisation dedicated to empowering individuals, with a strong focus on supporting young people. We specialise in teaching life skills through sports, music, creative arts, and education, creating opportunities for personal and professional growth. Our programmes, events and workshops aim to inspire and nurture development, whether through private initiatives or in collaboration with local governments. Our mission is to become the “Mecca” for young people to enrich their personal development, and to foster inter-generational relationships in order to become future leaders, and build stronger more resilient communities.
Role Description
This volunteer role of Deputy Chief Executive Officer at The MABA Group CIC involves supporting and executing strategic initiatives, overseeing operations, and contributing to business planning. Responsibilities include partnering with the CEO in transitioning the organisation from a founder-led initiative to a scalable, sustainable institution. Managing financial activities, assisting with organisational growth, and supporting key decision-making processes are also part of the role. This position offers a unique platform to shape the governance, operational model, and long-term strategy of a promising, life-changing social enterprise. While based in the London Area, United Kingdom, this is a hybrid role, allowing some flexibility to work from home.
