We’re looking for a Sales Manager to drive growth across our bar and catering business while also representing us at events. This is a hands-on role for someone who understands hospitality, enjoys building relationships, and isn’t afraid to be on-site making sure things actually run smoothly.
You’ll be responsible for bringing in new business, managing client relationships, and working closely with our operations team to deliver great events — from private functions to large-scale activations.
What you'll be doing:
- Driving sales across our bar and catering offerings
- Managing inbound enquiries and proactively generating new business
- Building strong relationships with corporate clients, venues and partners
- Leading client communication and briefing the Events team to ensure the sale translates to the event execution
- Attending events as a company representative and supporting on-site execution
- Coordinating with operations, bar staff and external suppliers
- Troubleshooting in real time when plans change (as they often do in hospitality)
- Capturing post-event feedback and identifying opportunities to improve and upsell
About you:
- Proven experience in sales, hospitality, events or catering
- Strong understanding of bar service, catering operations, or event delivery
- Confident dealing with clients in a fast-paced, people-focused environment
- Organised, proactive, and calm under pressure
- Comfortable working flexible hours around events when required
- Professional, personable, and genuinely enjoys being part of live events
This role may not be for you if:
- You’re not comfortable working weekends
- You prefer regular hours and don’t want to work long shifts during peak season
- You don’t enjoy working as part of a small, hands-on team
- You’re not willing to push yourself outside your comfort zone
- You struggle in high-pressure environments during busy periods
- You find it difficult to prioritise and manage a changing workload
- You’re not interested in embedding yourself in company culture
- You don’t want to take ownership of your events or contribute to growing a small business
- You’re hesitant to ask questions or seek feedback to support your development
Why join us:
- A varied role combining sales, client relationships and event delivery
- A growing bar and catering business with exciting projects
- A supportive, hands-on team who value reliability and initiative
- Competitive salary based on experience & commission after probation
- Opportunities to grow with the business
If you’re a hospitality-driven sales professional who enjoys being front-facing, building relationships and seeing events through from enquiry to last drink served, we’d love to hear from you.
