You will be joining our fast-paced and fast-growing Sales & Events Operations Team, with a main focus of generating sales for our 5 food & beverage brands; The Luxury Picnic Company, The Luxury Event Company, The Master Mixologist, and The Red Host. In 2025 we hosted over 500 events for B2B and B2C clients, from weddings and birthday parties to 250 guest corporate Christmas dinners and cocktail parties.
We are looking for an Events Manager to attend events across all brands. In this role, you will plan and coordinate events, manage the staffing and operations all whilst maintaining excellent communication with the client and events team through to the final reconciliation and booking in more events with that client. You will work closely with our Head of Events & Sales team and collaborate with the Sales team, based in Watford, North London as well as provide support to our brilliant Head Chef and freelance bar/waiting staff. You will help arrange pre-event calls with clients and organise briefings with freelance staff to ensure everything runs smoothly. This is a fixed terms contract role from March - September, based in Watford, WD18.
What You’ll be Doing:
- Event Relations: Work with the Head of Events to support in pre-event calls, staffing and staff briefings to ensure every event runs smoothly.
- Event Coordination: Carefully coordinate each event to ensure it runs smoothly from start to finish, including organising travel, accommodations, liaising with our Logistics team and communicating with our freelance pool of staff.
- Event attendance: You will be required to attend events; whether you’re attending multiple events in one day or getting stuck in to van driving and delivering for multiple events in a day. You will ensure set up goes smoothly, all equipment is accounted for and problem solve discreetly and confidently when needed. Creativity is key as event set ups can include anything from 1 bar to gorgeous grazing tables displays and fun food stations covering various cuisines.
Please apply for the role if:
- Planning is second nature to you, with a high attention to detail.
- You are a driver with a clean licence and at least 2 years of van driving experience (Short wheel base vans like transit vans and long-wheel base vans such as Sprinters or Boxer vans).
- Fast paced environments are what gets you up in the morning.
- You are a “do-er” and an ideas person, who goes out their way to get the job done and is always thinking of new ways to do the same thing!
- You communicate strongly both in person and virtually.
- You have strong data skills, including Google sheets, Canva and Microsoft.
- You are passionate about new businesses and want to be part of a small but fast-growing set of brands.
- You are able to commute to Watford (this is NOT a WFH role), where we do have parking available or Moor Park station a short 5 minute cab ride away.
- You are a problem solver under pressure, handling issues in real time with efficiency and ease, coming up with solutions on your own before calling Senior Management.
- You are ambitious, motivated and eager to learn from others.
- You pride yourself on delivering high-quality, detail-oriented work.
- You’re not scared of hard work, with some days in peak season exceeding 12 hours.
- You love tasting delicious food every time we change our seasonal menus and want regular staff lunch for free when you’re in the office!
This job is not for you if:
- You don’t know how to drive a van.
- Your commute to WD18 is longer than 1 hour during rush hour.
- You don’t want to work irregular and - in peak season - very long hours.
- You don’t like working as part of a small team.
- You won’t push yourself out of your comfort zone.
- You don’t cope well in a stressful environment during our peak times.
- You don’t know how to prioritise your workflow.
- You don’t want to embed yourself into the company culture.
- You don’t want to take ownership of your events and grow a small business.
- You are scared of asking questions to aid your development.
