Position Summary

The Luxury Collection invites you to join us as a Concierge at The Park Tower Knightsbridge, A Luxury Collection Hotel.

As a Concierge, you are the face of the hotel, welcoming guests, ensuring a positive arrival and departure experience, and creating memorable stays through personalised service and local knowledge.

Responsibilities

  • Welcome guests and use their name whenever possible.
  • Supervise porters to ensure a smooth check‑in process.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure guests’ stay is comfortable.
  • Maintain excellent knowledge of local attractions, transportation, theatre, tourist sites, sports activities, shops and restaurants.
  • Report work‑related accidents or injuries immediately to the manager/supervisor.
  • Follow property‑specific procedures for emergency situations.
  • Follow company safety and security policies.
  • Maintain awareness of undesirable persons on property premises.
  • Identify and report unsafe work procedures or conditions.
  • Use proper equipment, wear appropriate PPE and employ correct lifting procedures.
  • Protect the privacy and security of guests and coworkers.
  • Maintain confidentiality of proprietary materials and information.
  • Ensure uniform, nametags and personal appearance are clean, hygienic and professional.
  • Perform other reasonable duties as requested by supervisors.
  • Support guest‑satisfaction metrics: assistance with Touchpoints, GSS, mystery‑guest inspection and review of results to produce improvement plans.
  • Provide a warm welcome to all guests, including luggage porters and doorman.
  • Assist guests in a friendly, courteous and professional manner.
  • Respond to customer complaints positively, investigate shortfalls and propose solutions.
  • Seek customer feedback regularly and use it to improve service.
  • Use clear, appropriate, professional language when speaking to guests and coworkers.
  • Answer telephones with proper etiquette: within 3 rings, with a smile, use the caller’s name, transfer, hold, relay messages and allow the caller to end the call.
  • Prepare and review written documents (daily logs, business letters, memoranda, reports), proofreading and editing for accuracy.
  • Support coworkers, treat them with dignity and respect.
  • Handle sensitive issues with tact, respect and confidentiality.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with other employees and departments.
  • Participate in quality‑assurance expectations and standards.
  • Perform additional duties as required by business or management.
  • Be flexible and willing to take on alternative duties or training as needed.
