An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced chef to lead and develop our kitchen team at the Man O'War Bar and Restaurant, located in Durdle Door Holiday Park on the Lulworth Estate. Do you have the right skills and experience for this role? Read on to find out, and make your application.

This is a full time position, working 5 days out of 7, Monday - Sunday - 42 hours per week and will include working holidays and weekends.
As Head Chef, you will be required to manage all aspects of the kitchen operation. You will need to inspire your team, work efficiently and be highly organised. The successful candidate will have commercial experience, strong communication skills, a passion for fresh food, sustainable practice and delivering exceptional experiences.
Responsibilities to include:
- Leading the kitchen team throughout lunch and dinner service
- Costing menu items, controlling wastage and overseeing stock management, and purchasing
- Promote a positive working culture and learning environment
- Work to maintain GP%, assist with company stocktakes
- Complete all company H&S operating paperwork and SFBB paperwork
- Controlling and overseeing all food preparation for service
- Lead the team to complete weekly cleaning schedules
- Positively represent the company and demonstrate core values
- Planning resources including recruitment, rotas, and menu changes
- Leading the kitchen team to deliver outstanding service and encouraging individual development
