Job type: permanent Type of role: Hybrid What You\’ll Do: As a Regulatory Toxicologist in our Product Safety and Compliance Department (PSCD), you will support regulatory toxicology assessments, interpret global regulatory requirements and initiatives, and handle information inquiries regarding regulatory toxicology, with a focus on REACH. This highly cross-functional role requires regular communication and influence with business units, R&D, procurement, supply chain, operations, legal, and finance. What We\’re Looking For: Experience overseeing human, environmental, and physical chemical testing projects with third-party laboratories, including data assessment to meet regulatory reporting obligations Ability to organize, analyze, and interpret test results for regulatory submissions globally Contribute to developing and executing product defense strategies Effective presentation of technical and regulatory information to internal and external audiences Monitoring regulatory and toxicology communications relevant to PSCD and the business Skills That Make a Difference: Master’s or Ph.D. in Toxicology, Pharmacology, Industrial or Environmental Health Sciences, or related biological sciences with emphasis in Toxicology More than 3 years of toxicology experience in the chemical, pharmaceutical, or related industry sector Proven expertise applying regulatory toxicology to product risk assessments Strong understanding of toxicology principles and toxicity testing science Knowledge of regulatory data requirements for global chemical notifications and initiatives like REACH Experience with product compliance systems and databases such as IUCLID and CHESAR Understanding of hazard communication, transportation regulations, and compliance Project management experience with a results-driven approach Self-motivated with the ability to work effectively in a global team environment Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Perks and Rewards That Inspire: Opportunity to develop your career with a respected multinational company part of Berkshire Hathaway Inc.
