About the Role
As a Blend Operations & Testing Technician, you’ll play a key role in supporting both blend operations and testing laboratories. You’ll perform component blending, chemical handling, and laboratory testing while maintaining high standards of safety and quality. This role offers flexibility and the opportunity to contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the departments.
About You
You’re detail-oriented and safety-conscious, with a solid understanding of operational health and safety. You enjoy working independently and collaboratively, and you’re eager to learn and grow in a technical environment.
You Will Also Bring
- A solid understanding of Health and Safety in operational environments.
- Proven IT skills, including Microsoft Systems; SAP experience is a plus.
- Ability to manage workload independently with attention to detail.
- Capability to handle stock containers up to 30kg and use manual handling equipment.
- Fork Lift Truck license (training provided if needed).
- Experience in material dispensing and accurate chemical weighing.
- Multitasking, organisation, and prioritisation skills.
- Flexibility to work across departmental areas.
- Troubleshooting and procedural improvement skills.
- Ability to maintain equipment and supplies.
- Drive for self-development with support from the line manager.
Additional Requirements
Applicants must provide a five-year career history and consent to a career history and DBS check due to involvement in regulated material dispatch.
