Lowry is a visual and performing arts venue situated at the heart of MediaCityUK in Salford, one of the world's most exciting culture and media destinations.

We are looking for a Chef de Partie to prepare, cook and present food across our varied hospitality operation. You will take responsibility for assigned kitchen sections, working to agreed menus, preparation schedules and service priorities while maintaining consistently high standards of quality, presentation and portion control.

This is a hands-on role in a busy professional kitchen. You will work both independently and as part of the wider brigade, helping to keep service organised and responsive across restaurant, event and high-volume hospitality settings. You will support ordering and deliveries, use stock carefully and contribute to effective rotation, waste management and cost control.

You will maintain excellent food safety, hygiene and allergen standards, keep your working area clean and organised, and use equipment safely. You will also support new colleagues through practical guidance and help maintain a professional, customer-focused kitchen culture based on clear communication and teamwork.

If you have experience working in a professional kitchen, take pride in reliable and well-presented food, and want to build your skills within a varied operation, this role offers the opportunity to contribute to hospitality at the heart of Lowry.

The role has a number of staff benefits including:

  • Complimentary and discounted theatre and live event tickets.
  • Free car parking just a few minutes' walk from the Lowry building.
  • Paid day off for your birthday.
  • Discounts at the bars, restaurant and gift shop located within the Lowry building.
  • Access to Lowry's Wellbeing Hub and to other health and wellbeing services, including counselling, physiotherapy and remote GP appointments.
  • Group Life Assurance Scheme.

Please note that MediaCityUK is a well-connected destination with a variety of different transport options - bus, car, tram and bike.
