Theatres Technical Coordinator, permanent, full time (40 hours per week, averaged over a 17 week reference period), £34,200.00 per annum, plus staff benefits
Lowry is a visual and performing arts venue situated at the heart of Media City UK in Salford, one of the world’s most exciting culture and media destinations.
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will provide comprehensive technical coordination support across Lowry’s theatre spaces, working closely with the Technical team and reporting to the Head of Technical Theatre.
Work is conducted on a flexible rota pattern which includes working weekends, bank holidays and evenings where required.
The role requires a commitment to delivering a friendly and professional service.
Qualifications
- At least five years’ experience in a comparable role within a receiving or producing theatre environment.
- Thorough working knowledge of current health and safety legislation.
- Confidence using IT systems and standard office software.
- Ability to manage competing priorities while working effectively to tight deadlines and within agreed budgets.
- Collaborative team player with excellent communication skills, a commitment to delivering a friendly and professional service, and a proactive approach to ongoing personal development.
