An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the team at The Lowry Hotel, Manchester's iconic five-star hotel, as a Spa Receptionist on a casual, zero-hour contract.
Working as part of our Spa team and reporting to the Spa Manager, you will play a key role in delivering an exceptional guest experience while supporting the day-to-day administration and operation of the Spa. This is a highly administrative role that requires excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service.
Responsibilities
- Managing bookings for Spa treatments and facilities, including the gym, deprivation tank and Snomadome.
- Welcoming and greeting all guests in a warm, professional and friendly manner, ensuring every guest receives a genuine five-star experience.
- Undertaking a wide range of administrative duties, including managing appointments, responding to enquiries and maintaining accurate records.
- Processing payments and carrying out cashiering duties.
- Promoting and selling Spa retail products and memberships.
- Conducting show rounds of the Spa for prospective members and guests.
- Ensuring the Spa reception and public areas are clean, tidy and presented to the highest standards at all times.
- Supporting the wider Spa team to ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the department.
The ideal candidate will have an interest in the health, wellbeing or beauty industry and possess excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills. You will be confident working in a busy environment, enjoy interacting with people and be committed to delivering exceptional customer service.
This role is offered on a casual, zero-hour basis, with shifts allocated according to business needs. Flexibility is essential, including the ability to work evenings, weekends and public holidays.
