The Lowry Hotel - Manchester's iconic five-star hotel, is recruiting for a Painter and Decorator to become part of the maintenance team. This role involves supporting the Assistant Facilities Manager for preventative and reactive repairs, decorating and maintenance. The role involves responding and prioritising requests and ensuring that the rooms are kept to a 5-star standard.
Responsibilities:
- Painting and decorating including grouting and siliconing.
- Remedial repairs to furniture and fittings, cleaning and staining/varnishing of furniture.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess the skills and experience to be able to carry out the above maintenance tasks to a high standard and be able to appreciate the privacy our guests require in a five-star hotel.
Work Details:
The hours of work are on a shift basis including weekends, early & late shift. Therefore flexibility is essential. The Lowry Hotel's service Brand Pillars of "Iconic", "Individual" and "Intuitive" service delivery are key attributes to all candidates for this role.
