An exciting new casual vacancy of Food and Beverage Assistant has arisen within The Lowry Hotel - Manchester's Iconic five-star hotel. As part of the food and beverage team, you will be working with a British Classic Menu that is influenced by locally sourced produce. As a Food and Beverage Assistant, you will work in the River Restaurant, Lowry Lounge and Bar, and Room Service department for The Lowry Hotel. The River Restaurant has been commended with 2 AA rosettes and aims to provide contemporary surroundings with fine dining in a relaxed setting. Live entertainment is provided most evenings and during Sunday lunch.
The role involves:
- Greeting and seating guests
- Taking orders
- Advising on menu choices
- Delivering and presenting food and beverages in the restaurant, bar, and room service departments
- Receiving payments
- Delivering a high level of personalised and professional service
You will be part of a team of 35 working together to ensure all guests receive the highest level of service delivery and follow the hotel standards. The ideal candidate will preferably have previous food and beverage experience, excellent customer care and social skills, be able to work using their own initiative, and have the ability to work as part of a dynamic team. The role is on a casual basis and will also involve working at weekends and may involve early starts and late finishes.
