The exciting role of Assistant Conference & Banqueting Manager has arisen within The Lowry Hotel - Manchester's Iconic five-star hotel. You will report directly into the Food and Beverage Manager. This role is responsible for overseeing and directing all aspects of conferences, banquets and other events in a floor solely dedicated to delivering this service. You will be required to co-ordinate and liaise between departments to ensure the smooth running of an event, whilst ensuring professionalism and a five-star service is provided at all times.
The ideal candidate will have excellent guest care skills, be able to work using initiative, standards driven, and the ability to lead and manage a team. Previous experience of working as a Conference & Banqueting Supervisor or Assistant Manager level is required. The hours of work are on a shift basis including weekends, early & late shifts. Therefore flexibility is essential.

The successful candidate will currently be a strong supervisor or current assistant Food and Beverage Manager and experience of working in a 5 * hotel is also advantageous. The candidate will also possess excellent computer skills, a methodical approach to working, strategic approach, produce work of a high standard of accuracy and service delivery and be able to work to deadlines.
