The Lowry Academy is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee the efficient operation of the school, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for staff and students.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate all administrative functions across the academy.
- Manage the PFI contract and oversee related financial and operational aspects.
- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety regulations, including daily health and safety checks.
- Provide and maintain effective first aid provision and record‑keeping.
- Maintain effective administrative support for staff, contractors, pupils and external stakeholders.
- Manage multiple priorities and maintain statutory compliance with organisational policies.
- Build and sustain productive working relationships within the school community.
Qualifications & Competencies
- Highly organised and proactive with proven experience in school or educational administration.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a capacity to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
- Knowledge of health and safety legislation and first aid best practice.
- Experience managing contracts and procurement processes is desirable.
