The Lowry Academy is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee the efficient operation of the school, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for staff and students.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate all administrative functions across the academy.
  • Manage the PFI contract and oversee related financial and operational aspects.
  • Ensure compliance with Health & Safety regulations, including daily health and safety checks.
  • Provide and maintain effective first aid provision and record‑keeping.
  • Maintain effective administrative support for staff, contractors, pupils and external stakeholders.
  • Manage multiple priorities and maintain statutory compliance with organisational policies.
  • Build and sustain productive working relationships within the school community.

Qualifications & Competencies

  • Highly organised and proactive with proven experience in school or educational administration.
  • Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a capacity to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of health and safety legislation and first aid best practice.
  • Experience managing contracts and procurement processes is desirable.
