We are launching two brand new entertainment venues in the very centre of London; breathing live music back into Soho and ushering in a new era for Denmark Street - the iconic birthplace of British counterculture.

Four levels below ground, and right next to Tottenham Court Road tube station, we have created HERE - a cutting edge 2000 capacity space to host incredible live concerts, club nights, comedy, arts and culture; alongside high profile events, launches, fashion shows and film screenings.

On the infamous Denmark Street where the Sex Pistols lived, the Rolling Stones recorded and David Bowie started his first band, sits The Lower Third - a neighbourhood bar and fiercely independent grass roots music venue championing emerging talent and the unbridled spirit of rock&roll; with a cafe, world class cocktail bar and 200 capacity basement club.

We are looking for enthusiastic barbacks/bussers to join us on an adventure that promises total immersion in music, cocktails, and hospitality - with a bunch of like-minded, creatively driven and passionate people obsessed with creating unforgettable moments that last a lifetime.

As a barback/busser you must ensure that the bar and floor is able to run efficiently, is properly stocked and is always perfectly presentable. Our barback/bussers show initiative and get tasks done; they are constantly aware of what is needed in and around the bar and will pre-empt restock before it’s too late. You will also assist in maintaining the aesthetic and cleanliness of the FOH.

You will be expected to:

  • Ensure bartenders have everything they need during shift to maintain smooth running operation
  • Receive and store deliveries, keeping on top of stock rotation
  • Maintain and ensure high standards of hygiene and cleanliness by following cleaning schedules and ongoing diligence during shift, in set up and clean down.
  • Remove soiled glasses, empty bins and maintain BOH/FOH area cleanliness
  • Carry out bar prep on designated shifts and times, including but not limited to fruit and garnish preparation, mixing fresh juices, and making syrups.
  • Work at speed whilst maintaining a clean and efficient high-volume operation

We do not require you to have previous bar or hospitality experience, but this is a plus. The physical ability to lift kegs, heavy loads, carry trays and glassware as well as stand for long periods is imperative.

If you are passionate about entertainment, creativity and culture and people from all walks of life, you will fit right in. We love music and events and discovering talent. If you are looking for growth, you will find a host of opportunities ahead - whether that be progressing to management, producing a show, or performing in front of a crowd!
