This is a hands-on, high-energy role where no two days are the same. You will lead shoots, capture breathtaking footage, and craft narrative-driven edits for digital-first platforms like YouTube, rolling up your sleeves and shooting UGC content on an iPhone to support the wider team. You will join at a pivotal moment of growth, collaborating closely with our Creative Strategists and Media Producer to help define the visual voice of The Lost Estate.

What You Will Do
- Lead shoots with expertise in cameras, lenses, lighting, and professional audio to deliver cinematic storytelling.
- Take joint ownership of our videography kit, keeping it ready for any shoot - from cinema-grade productions to quick UGC captures.
- Occasionally get hands-on with iPhone or quick-turnaround shoots to support the wider team.
- Craft top-tier edits that combine pace, energy, and narrative-first storytelling.
- Deliver polished long-form edits from rough cut to colour grading, sound design, and final mastering.
- Structure footage for social editors, enabling quick cutdowns for paid ads or organic campaigns while preserving story integrity.
- Collaborate with internal or external editors to maintain a consistent storytelling voice across all content.
- Work efficiently without sacrificing quality - tight deadlines are part of the thrill.
- Partner with strategists and producers to refine briefs and bring bold storytelling ideas to life.
- Contribute to storyboarding, treatments, and creative development with a narrative-first mindset.
- Experiment with editing styles, motion graphics, and visual storytelling techniques.
- Keep developing your skills in colour grading, lighting, audio, and emerging storytelling trends.
What We Are Looking For
- Expert videography skills: cameras, lighting, rigging, and audio recording, ideally with cinema-grade cameras (Sony FX3 preferred).
- Editing mastery: Premiere Pro (DaVinci Resolve, After Effects a plus), with strong narrative editing, pacing, and colour grading skills.
- Storytelling first: Experience creating short documentaries, interviews, or films that captivate audiences.
- Creative instinct: A flair for detail, modern storytelling, and edits that feel engaging and platform-native.
- Fast-paced efficiency: Comfortable under pressure and tight deadlines without compromising storytelling quality.
- Collaborative communicator: Able to give clear direction and work closely with producers, strategists, and creatives.
- Bonus: Experience shooting iPhone or UGC-style content.
