Digital Marketing and Brand Manager in City of Westminster

City of Westminster Full-Time On-site
The Lord's Taverners

This is an exciting opportunity to use digital marketing to make a real difference to the lives of young people across the UK. As our Digital Marketing and Brand Manager, you will lead the delivery of engaging digital campaigns that grow awareness of the Lord's Taverners, strengthen supporter engagement and help generate income to support our work. Working closely with colleagues across fundraising, communications and programmes, you will help bring our brand to life through compelling content, effective digital channels and data-driven decision making. You will combine creativity with insight, using audience data and performance metrics to continually improve results and ensure our marketing activity has maximum impact. Whether developing campaigns, managing digital content or championing our brand, you will play an important role in helping us reach more people and increase support for our mission.

The first stage will take place online and will last 60 minutes in total.

The session will include:

  • A 5-minute discussion about your previous experience and interest in the role
  • A 40-minute competency-based interview with questions provided to selected candidates in advance
  • A 15-minute opportunity to ask questions about the role and/or our organisation

Second Stage (In-Person) The second stage will be a 60-minute interview at our London office. As part of the process, you will be asked to prepare a short presentation (around 10 minutes) based on a digital marketing and fundraising scenario. The task will focus on how you would approach the launch of a new fundraising product or campaign. We will be interested in how you identify opportunities, make decisions, prioritise activity and balance audience, brand and income objectives. Following your presentation, there will be a discussion with the interview panel (around 50 minutes). This will give you an opportunity to explain your approach in more detail and tell us about your relevant skills and experience. The assessment is designed to help us understand how you plan and deliver campaigns, use insight and data to inform decisions, work with others and turn ideas into effective activity.

We are now seeking an experienced and creative Digital Marketing and Brand Manager to join our Fundraising and Communications directorate. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in growing awareness of the charity, strengthening engagement with our supporters and helping to generate income through effective digital marketing activity. Working across fundraising, communications and programme teams, you will lead the delivery of integrated digital campaigns, support the development of our brand and use insight and data to drive continuous improvement and impact.

You shall be a creative and organised digital marketing professional who enjoys turning ideas into engaging campaigns that deliver results. You'll be comfortable managing multiple projects, working with different stakeholders and using insight and data to inform your decisions. You will bring:

  • Experience delivering successful digital marketing campaigns across a range of channels.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to create engaging content for different audiences.
  • Creative mindset and a good understanding of impactful charity branding.
  • Experience using data, reporting and insight to evaluate performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
  • A collaborative approach and confidence building effective relationships with colleagues, suppliers and other stakeholders.
  • A proactive mindset, with the ability to take ownership and drive work forward.
  • A genuine interest in the Lord's Taverners' mission and the impact of inclusive sport.
