We are currently recruiting for a Shift Engineer to join the Maintenance team at The Londoner, one of our 5 Star Luxury Hotels.

Overview:

An exciting opportunity to join the Maintenance team at The Londoner Hotel as a Shift Engineer .

As a Shift Leader, you will be responsible for maintaining the hotel on a daily basis to ensure the effective running of the hotel.

You will respond to requests from both guests and staff, handling them efficiently.

You will coordinate and prioritize repair and maintenance requests and planned maintenance to ensure timely completion.

You will check and monitor completed work to ensure it meets company standards.

You will supervise maintenance assistants and delegate tasks appropriately based on skills.

You will ensure compliance with all fire and safety regulations as legally required.

About You:

  • You must have current hotel maintenance experience.
  • Be fully aware of health and safety procedures.
  • Understand water management requirements.
  • Have knowledge of environmental matters.
  • Be capable of performing electrical, plumbing, decoration, and carpentry tasks.
  • Understand basic housekeeping processes and procedures.
  • Demonstrate personal ownership, team spirit, and motivation skills.
