We are currently looking to recruit a Night F & B Chief Steward to join our 5 Star Londoner Hotel.
OverviewThe role of Night F & B Chief Steward is to be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the back of house operation during the night, alongside the Back of House manager. This will involve being responsible for the cleanliness of all cutlery and crockery and the overall upkeep of all back of house stock levels. Any concerns should be highlighted to the Back of House Manager as soon as possible. You will be responsible for receiving any goods for the Back of House area ensuring that they are thoroughly checked before being accepted. The role of Night Food and Beverage Chief Steward will also assist the training, coaching and development of the Food and Beverage Stewards during the night ensuring feedback is given to measure training effectiveness. You will support with the identification of training needs in the back of house area to ensure that all team members have the opportunity for development and growth. You will also be involved in health and safety audits alongside the Back of House Manager.
About YouCurrent Back of House supervisory experience in a similar hotel or environment. Demonstrates the ability to proactively prioritise business needs in order to drive and support the back of house operations teams. Displays a working knowledge of the back of house areas of the Hotel in order to assist internal & external clients. Be up to date with current health and safety procedures and requirements in food and beverage. Have health and safety qualifications at a minimum CIEH Level Two.
