- Promote and follow guidelines implemented for managing behaviour including supporting children to manage their own feelings.
- Drive the culture of Safeguarding Children.
- Ensure the children you care for are fully supervised and remain safe and well, leading by example.
- Fulfil roles, responsibilities and legislative duty in relation to safeguarding children by ensuring that you have read, understood and implemented the Safeguarding Policies.
- Be highly motivated and driven, meeting deadlines for children's record keeping and assessments.
Skills and requirements:
- Current 12hrs paediatric First Aid Certificate.
- Proven ability to work as part of a team to ensure essential day to day tasks are completed in line with nursery demands such as hygiene standards and room preparation.
- Sound understanding of child protection and safeguarding children.
- Specific experience of working within the 0-2 years age group in accordance with the regulatory requirements if required.
