What the role involves:
- Managing your own caseload of complex and technical clinical negligence claims.
- Supervise a team of excellent and motivated case handlers under the direction of the group leader.
- Manage those you supervise.
- Undertake case planning and training of the team by utilising weekly risk assessment meetings and weekly individual 1-2-1 supervision sessions and ad hoc supervision/advice.
- Participate in team training and marketing activities.
- Maintaining the group’s case management procedures.
Skills and requirements:
We are currently recruiting for a qualified senior Solicitor or CILEX with solid claimant clinical negligence and proven litigation experience to join our Clinical Negligence Group. This is a busy and demanding role and a high standard of performance is expected, with the ability to deal sensitively with clients and professionally with experts. Have proven experience of and enthusiasm for supervising and guiding a team.
Confirmed role details:
This role offers hybrid working and you can work from either our Bristol or Cardiff office. Work 2 days a week in the office and 3 days a week from home. You would therefore need the infrastructure in place to work from home and will be provided with a company laptop.
Candidate fit: professional judgement, legal knowledge, client communication, and careful file management.
